Water is the essence of life. Drinking enough clean water is the first priority for mental and physical health. To drink plenty of water is even more critical during your physical therapy and healing process, because detoxation requires a large amount of water to flush the "contaminants" out of your body.

Here comes the issue, is your drinking water safe? You see, we are trying to flush out the unwanted substances/ contaminants from our bodies. So if we gain even more "poisons" from drinking water during the process, it would be quite meaningless.

We have to discuss this topic because, unfortunately, all sources of drinking water, including municipal water systems, wells, lakes, rivers, and even glaciers, contain some level of contamination. Contaminants range from naturally-occurring minerals to made-made chemicals and by-products, to biological agents such as bacteria, viruses, and cysts.

It's a sad fact of modern life that we must worry about the quality of something as essential as water. Unsafe water is obviously not just a third world problem.

What Can WE DO About It!

The best and simple solution is a reverse osmosis water filter system. With the right water filter, the safest and tastiest water can be right at home and installation of an effective filter is easier and cheaper than you think. We had been drinking bottled, reverse osmosis filtered water for years and got tired of lugging and storing the bottles. When we finally enquired as to the cost of an under-the-counter water filter system, we found out it would pay for itself within a year. I wish we had acted sooner.

I'll bet you didn't know that about 1/4 of bottled water sold in stores is bottled tap water!

To be sure that you are removing 99.9 percent of the contaminants, plus many more, you will need a 5 stage reverse osmosis water filter system. A home water filter may be the best protection for your family from e-coli, chlorine, fluoride, cryptosporidium, arsenic, mercury, viruses, PCB's and on and on... Each filter stage on its own will remove certain types of contaminants effectively, but together you are able to remove 99% of the most popular pollutants. The best setup is a reverse osmosis water filter with at least two activated carbon block filters (stay away from GAC type carbon filters) as pre-filters. This will protect you from just about every contaminant.

Getting a quality water system is important. To our experiences, cheap water systems are prone to leaks, blockages, and lots of your time spend on solving problems. We've had many people asking us to recommend a system or just to tell them who has the best reverse osmosis drinking water systems. I was thinking we might have to re-drill a well to solve our problem.
